F.A.Q.
So,how does a car's air conditioner, work to keep you Cool?
There are five main components, here is a breakdown of what they DO:
1. Compressor - pumps refrigerant vapour under high pressure to the condenser.
2. Condenser - the condenser changes the high-pressure refrigerant vapour to a liquid.
3. Receiver-dryer - this removes any moisture and contaminants.
4. Expansion valve (TX) - regulates the flow of gas into evaporator.
5. The Evaporator - vaporises and absorbs heat from the air in the passenger compartment.

Q: What is re gassing the AC?
A: Fresh refrigerant is added to the system.
Q: Is it required, like an oil change?
A: If the refrigerant is a bit low, it can be topped off, the same as if you were a bit low on oil in the engine.
Q: Does my car's air conditioning need to be re gassed?
A: If the system lacks efficiency then adding new fluid is called re gassing.
